The breakfast was good, offering a satisfying start to the day.

The room furnishings looked quite old. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling, not ideal. The bath was narrow, presenting a balance challenge during showers.

amazing breakfast good breakfast choice full english dated hotel peeling wallpaper dirty windows

the breakfast was amazing! there was a good choice of cereals, fruit, and yoghurts. you could have all that as well as a full english breakfast. there were also fruit juices, tea, and coffee (i especially enjoyed the coffee). we felt full for the whole day!

the hotel looked a bit more dated than it did on the photos. the room could do with some redecoration as the wallpaper was peeling off (it's a bit of a shame). the windows were also quite dirty.

fantastic family getaway!

excellent breakfast friendly staff great location spacious room

breakfast was excellent (especially the sausages!). the staff were very friendly and always smiling, nothing seemed too much trouble. the location was also great, a short walk to the tram and bus stops made getting around easy, so accessible. i really enjoyed the family room, so spacious and it had everything we needed, an absolute dream!

the lift was a little small, but we managed just fine with our luggage (i even used the stairs for a little extra exercise!).

mixed feelings about this stay

peeling wallpaper lacking cleanliness

the hotel looked rather dated upon arrival. the wallpaper in the room was peeling. i found the cleanliness of the en-suite to be lacking, specifically noticing dust and dead spiders. the staff was friendly, but the room's condition was below expectations.
